What Love Is!

What is the attraction?

The vastness is limitless,

The power is uncontrolled,

The responses are unpredictable.

The flow of it all!

Goes way beyond expectation,

Then so low it reveals

The underbelly of sentiment.

So strong! So full of life,

Throughout, obvious, microscopic,

Ironic,

Hyperbolic, metaphoric.

It comes, it goes.

It never rests.

The end is never near.

Limitless, eternal, self-sustaining.

Becoming. Seeking. Becoming-seeking.

Searchers are always attracted,

They feel its strength,

They seek its power.

Never turn your back!

Always unexpected,

It will wash over you

And pull you in.

Lose yourself to win.

Fighting is fruitless.

The flow is perpetual.

The draw is irresistible.

To disappear in its pull,

To become one with a sunlit abyss,

The know the strength of its hold,

That's what love is.
