A Jar

Ever felt this way?

A Jar

A jar just sitting there empty

Cloudy from previous contents

Serving no purpose

Taking up space

Not being useful.

Is it better to be used?

Is that a purpose?

Add another cloudy layer

Fill up, then dump out

Be empty again.

A jar, just sitting there empty.

Change to a bowl.

There is need for a bowl.

Change to a cup,

So someone else can drink?

Change to a glass

Half full, half empty

Or just a glass with something in it?

A jar just sitting there empty

Waiting for the days to slip by

While the contents evaporate away

Doing no good

Leaving another layer of film

Function-less. Doing no good.
